Good design is essential to all good practices. Whether it is a marketing campaign, social ideal, or to attract business clients; graphic design means connection. Within the realm of information design, graphic design must not only be graphically appealing, it must also inform the audience. Graphic designers must be able to make things appealing, while also using appropriate color, texture, hue, size, position, value and shape correctly. For example, if a magazine has a specific demographic, the design of an advertisement or feature should accommodate that audience. Graphic Design combines the traditional characters of fine art along with the demographics of psychographic information.
